Holler is a Midwestern Gothic story that follows Ray, a self-destructive loner who has survived in the years since the dead rose by isolating himself. When he encounters Sydney, a pregnant young woman trying to get home, Ray reluctantly agrees to escort her across the rural Midwest, sending them both on a journey that will change them forever.
“We wanted to make a zombie movie that wasn’t really about zombies,” says co-director Devin Smock. “The dead are in the world, but the story belongs to the living. Holler is about grief, isolation, survival, and the strange ways people find something worth living for after the world has already ended.”
Filming for Holler is 60% complete, and they are currently crowdfunding for finishing funds.

The plan is to finish the remaining 40% of filming and complete the film for a festival run in 2027. They have a Kickstarter running now with more than 40 days left as of this post.
