Felissa Rose Joins the Cast of ‘Half-O-Ween’ as the Indie Slasher Enters Its Final Weekend of Funding
Celebrate Half-O-Ween with Felissa Rose, coming soon!

About a month and a half ago I shared news about the upcoming short horror film Half-O-Ween beginning its crowdfunding campaign. In that post I urged you not to wait until the last minute to contribute if you’re able. Well, the last minute has arrived! Half-O-Ween has mere hours until the initial campaign closes, and there’s no better time to grab a perk than now. Why? Because Felissa Rose has joined the cast!

It was announced earlier this week that the iconic scream, the living legend, Felissa Rose is now on board to appear in Half-O-Ween. She joins a cast that already includes Lestonja Diaz (Out of Body, Resuttektor), Tim Robinson (10/31 Part 2, Dracula’s Coffin), Sara Gaston, and Joe Grisaffi.
If you’re a fan of indie horror, then you’ll already know that Felissa makes any movie better. From her unforgettable debut as Angela in Sleepaway Camp (1983) to decades of genre-film greatness including Terrifier 2 (2022), Victor Crowley (2017), Tales of Halloween (2015), and tons more, Felissa Rose is one of the most vibrant and engaging actors in independent horror cinema. And I can attest from seeing her at conventions, she’s awesome in real life too.
The announcement of Felissa’s casting comes on top of what was already a very fun-looking horror short. Half-O-Ween is set during the “Summerween” season when Camille White is ready to enjoy a couple of horror movies. Spoiling Cam’s evening is her boyfriend Jeremy who decides tonight would be a good night to break up with her. The night goes from bad to worse when Cam’s obnoxious landlords stop by to warn her that a crazed serial killer has escaped custody and is in the area.
Half-O-Ween is described as a “suspenseful, darkly comedic take on the slasher formula,” and it sounds like a lot of fun to me. You can check out more about the movie on the Indiegogo campaign which, as of this writing, has about 36 hours left! Go check it out and consider contributing if you can.
