July 1, 2025 – 3 New Horror Movies Streaming Today

July begins with a trio of horror that includes occult, fantasy, and folklore themes.

The Death of Snow White (2025) is now available as a digital rental and purchase.

After a tidal wave of new releases in June, July begins with a modestly sized batch of movies. Three new horror movies should be easy to keep up with, even with trying to catch up on the backlog from last month. Take a look below for today’s new streaming releases. And as always, keep up with all the new horror and horror-adjacent releases in our New and Upcoming Horror Movies tracker.

Bring Her Back

Bring Her Back is my favorite horror movie of the year so far.

For viewers who enjoy: bleak movies, occult themes, Talk to Me

Bring Her Back lands on streaming at premium video on demand prices. It’s an excellent film about two orphaned siblings who are fostered by a woman whose grief over the loss of her child leads her to crafting a horrific plan. It is directed by the Philippou brothers, the makers of Talk to Me.

The Death of Snow White

Sanae Loutsis stars as Snow White.

For viewers who enjoy: fairy tale horror, fantasy horror, gory low-budget films

This is essentially a retelling of the Snow White story most people are familiar with, but with a lot more bloodshed.

The Twin

The Twin is titled The Fetch in certain regions.

For viewers who enjoy: the fetch of Irish folklore, supernatural and psychological horror

After the death of his son, Nicholas (Logan Donovan) begins seeing a twisted mirror image of himself. As his mind loses its grip on sanity, he must confront his trauma before it’s too late.
