Peacock is Adding More Than 50 Horror Titles to Stream in September 2025! Here’s the Whole List

Peacock’s Halloween warm-up is looking good.

Is it too early to start celebrating Christmas? Yes. But we can still watch Terrifier 3 when it joins the Peacock library in September along with lots more more horror!

Table of Contents

For the past few years, Peacock has gone all out when adding horror movies as Halloween draws closer. Granted, most of the horror films being added are older titles that have been on the streaming service before, but there’s a lot of good among the movies they’re adding in September.

Listed below is every horror movie joining the Peacock streaming library in September of 2025. Most of the movies arrive on the first of the month, so I’ve divided them up a little to try to help readability. Also, if you see a question mark in the year next to a title, that’s because Peacock announced most of the titles with no year, and the movie in question could be a few different versions that have that same title but were made in different years. I took my best guess in those cases.

So, check the list below, and start streaming horror beginning September 1st!

September 1

Universal Monster Movies

Werewolf of London isn’t as iconic as The Wolf Man, but it’s still really good.

Peacock has an eclectic mix of Universal Monster movies joining the platform in September. It’s a seemingly random selection, but all the movies are totally worth watching.

  • The Mummy (1932?)
  • Werewolf of London (1935)
  • Son of Frankenstein (1939)
  • Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)
  • The Mummy’s Ghost (1944)
  • The Creature Walks Among Us (1956)

Amityville Movies

Bella Thorne, Cameron Monaghan, Mckenna Grace, and Jennifer Jason Leigh star in Amityville: The Awakening.

Of the Amityville movies streaming on Peacock September 1st, only the first two are technically part of the original lineage that began with the 1979 classic. But even then, all of these movies can be watched as standalone stories.

  • Amityville 2: The Possession (1982)
  • Amityville 3-D (1983)
  • Amityville: The Awakening (2017)
  • The Amityville Harvest (2020)
  • The Amityville Moon (2021)
  • Amityville Uprising (2022)

Chucky Movies

Bride of Chucky is great fun.

This is the almost-complete Chucky film series. The only one missing is the original 1988 Child’s Play. If you want even more, Peacock also has all three seasons of the Chucky TV series. With the exception of the 2019 remake, every movie and all three television seasons are canon and integral to the overall story.

  • Child’s Play 2 (1990)
  • Child’s Play 3 (1991)
  • Bride of Chucky (1998)
  • Seed of Chucky (2004)
  • Curse of Chucky (2013)
  • Cult of Chucky (2017)
  • Child’s Play (2019)

You’re Next is just one of many excellent movies streaming on Peacock in September.

Brightburn (2019)

Brightburn stars Jackson A. Dunn, David Denman, and Elizabeth Banks.

Brightburn is a twisted, horror take on the Superman origin story. Brandon Breyer is a boy who begins showing signs of extraordinary powers. But instead of using his power to help others, he uses it to get revenge. James Gunn was a producer on Brightburn, and his brother Brian and cousin Mark wrote the film.

September 12

Screamboat

David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown from the Terrifier movies) stars as the movie’s killer mouse.

This Steamboat Willie horror parody is set on a ferry where a murderous, anthropomorphic mouse is on the loose.

September 19

Abigail (2024)

The original working title for Abigail was Dracula’s Daughter.

Criminals are hired to watch over a kidnapped girl overnight, but they’re not being told the full story. They have more to fear from young Abigail than she has to fear from them.

September 24

Knock at the Cabin (2023)

Knock at the Cabin is from director M. Night Shyamalan, based on the novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul G. Tremblay.
