Scream Queen Felissa Rose to Star in Revenge Slasher ‘The Last Sleepover’, Crowdfunding Now!
A new slasher with an old-school appeal!

One of my New Year’s Resolutions this year is to support more indie horror, and I’ve finally found the first upcoming movie of 2025 that I feel confident about contributing to: The Last Sleepover!
The Last Sleepover is described by its filmmakers as “Mean Girls meets I Know What You Did Last Summer.” That alone sounds intriguing. Also, a look at the plot description gives the impression that it’s also going to be a revenge slasher in the classic style of movies like Prom Night (1980) and Terror Train (1980). That, combined with the button-eyed look of the killer, has me ready to see more!
The plot summary on the Indiegogo page for The Last Sleepover tells about a 20-year reunion for a group of former high school friends who belonged to an exclusive clique known as The Pastels. While spending the weekend together reminiscing about their glory days, a killer begins stalking and slashing among them. Is the masked murderer one of their own, or could it be the girl who they thought died after a particularly cruel prank pulled by The Pastels two decades ago?
So far, cast announcements The last Sleepover are highlighted by scream queen Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp). The other cast members announced in the press release for the film are Spooky Madison (Phantom Fun-World), Audri Curtsinger (Home-less for the Holidays), Jason Crowe (The Art of Killing, New Fears Eve), Ashe Parker (Wicked Ones, Piranha Sharks), and TJ Moreschi (The Legacy, Kill Granny Kill). Many additional cast members can be found on the Facebook page for The Last Sleepover.

The co-writers of The Last Sleepover, Gregory W. Brock (The Killbillies) and Austin J. Rutherford (The Whisper in the Woods), are also producing the film along with additional producers P.J. Starks (New Fears Eve), Jacob Ennis (The Town Without Halloween) and Jake C. Young (Daylight to Dark). Omo Emasealu (Unnatural 1 & 2) is the cinematographer for The Last Sleepover.
For anything else you need to know, check out the campaign on Indiegogo. There are lots of great perks available, ranging from opportunities to be in the film, to producer credits, to merch (including my go-to crowdfunding pick, a limited edition Blu-ray of the movie). As of this writing, there are 19 days left to meet the flexible goal for The Last Sleepover. Consider contributing what you can, and if you can’t, help spread the word! Every little bit helps independent filmmakers.
