In FX’s Grotesquerie, a series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois (Niecy Nash-Betts) feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone—or something—is taunting her. With no leads and unsure where to turn, she accepts the help of Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun and journalist with her own difficult past. She’s seen the worst of humanity but still believes in our potential for good, while Detective Lois fears the world is succumbing to evil. Stringing together clues, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers.
