Smile was one of our favorite horror movies of 2022. We met Rose, a psychiatrist traumatized by a patient with an uncanny smile. As Rose begins to see more creepy smiling people everywhere, she realizes she is cursed and desperately searches for a way to escape her fate. This Friday, the encore hits theaters.
About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and pressures of fame, she must confront her dark past before her life spirals out of control.
This is the horror movie we’re most excited about this October because of how much higher the stakes are from the first film to the sequel. Knowing that the original contains some pretty perfectly timed jump scares, we’re excited to see bigger and better jump scares and heart-racing moments in the sequel.
