‘Alien: Earth’ Premieres Tonight on FX and Hulu! Here’s How to Watch (and where to find the rest of the franchise)
This looks like it’s going to be amazing!

The latest installment of the Alien franchise launches tonight, August 12th, 2025!
Alien: Earth takes place in 2120, two years before the events of Alien (1979). 2120, however, is notable for being the year that the Nostromo (the ship Ripley and her crew were on) left Earth. Will there be a direct connection between the two? We’ll have to watch to find out!
In Alien: Earth, a Weyland-Utani spaceship crash-lands into a city owned by a company called Prodigy. Prodigy is experimenting with transferring human consciousness into synthetic bodies. The synths investigate the crashed ship, discovering that it was on a mission to collect specimens from alien species. As you might have guessed, a few of the alien life forms escape captivity.
The Alien: Earth series will have eight episodes in total. The first and second episodes will become available on Hulu as they air on FX beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on August 12th.
