In SÉANCE, a woman takes refuge in the home of her first husband and his new wife, a home that may be haunted by their dead child. It’s now playing in limited theaters.
Emma Strand is in an unhappy marriage with her second husband, Albert. While on vacation, Emma and Albert are forced to take refuge from a storm at the home of Emma’s first husband George, and George’s unstable new wife Lillian. Tensions and temptations rise, complicated by the fact that the house they’re in may be haunted by George and Lillian’s recently deceased daughter.
The trailer for Séance has a nicely gothic look and feel. Hopefully the tension and spookiness can match the feeling the trailer evokes.
Vivian Kerr wrote and directed Séance, and she stars as Lillian. Scottie Thompson, Connor Paolo, and Jilon VanOver also star.
