A cuckoo clock warns an elderly woman’s granddaughter of danger in the psychological horror film THE CUCKOO CLOCK, now playing in limited theaters.

Penny’s grandmother has dementia and requires the care of an in-home nurse. Penny begins to fall for the nurse, but when she goes missing, Penny is left wondering why. Soon, a cuckoo clock begins speaking to Penny, telling her that her grandmother might be responsible.

The premise of The Cuckoo Clock sounds odd, but the trailer sold me on it. It looks like an interesting psychological horror film with some potentially bizarre moments and a nicely creepy vibe.

Lisa Jay wrote and directed The Cuckoo Clock. The film stars Hana Hahn, Makenna DeCaro, and Laura Drake.
