Lenny Rush, the 17-year-old actor cast as Dobby in season 2 of HBO’s Harry Potter adaptation, is keeping the house elf’s screen treatment secret. Asked whether the role would involve makeup, motion capture or voice work, he declined to reveal which approach the production is taking.

Rush said he’s seen the plan for bringing Dobby to life and is pleased with it, but kept the technical details to himself. On his excitement about joining the series, he said: “What I will say is that I’m so excited. The only stuff I’ve seen is what everyone else has seen, the trailers for the first series.”
