A New Slasher Movie Is Now on Netflix

Horror movie fans are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Fear Street: Prom Queen on Netflix on May 23. Now, Netflix just dropped another slasher movie. That movie is Heart Eyes, which was released in theaters only two months ago!
Heart Eyes (2025) is a romcom/slasher (an elite genre mashup) about a serial killer who targets couples on Valentine’s Day. Two coworkers, Ally (Olivia Holt) and Jay (Mason Gooding) are mistaken for a couple by the killer. They then spend the holiday fighting for their lives.

Heart Eyes has gotten fairly positive reviews. We have it ranked about midway through out Best Horror Movies of 2025 list, noting “The kills are gory and the love story is charming.”
