Deepfakes are weaponized to cause extreme chaos in APPOFENIACS, now in theaters.

Appofeniacs is a story told from many different perspectives. At the center of it all is Duke, a man who uses highly-advanced AI deepfakes in malicious ways. His targets range from people who annoy him to pretty much anyone, and their lives inevitably turn into paranoia and violence.

Chris Marrs Piliero, who is primarily known for making music videos for artists including Ariana Grande and Britney Spears, wrote and directed Appofeniacs.
Aaron Holliday stars as Duke, and he’s joined by Sean Gunn, Jermain Fowler, Paige Searcy, and Michael Abbott Jr.

Appofeniacs is currently playing in limited theaters in the U.S.
