Cat Cam stars Nug, a cat who is left at home while her owners Sammy and Riley are away on vacation. There is a cat-sitter who checks in from time to time, but there are two ever-present presences in the house along with Nug: a collection of cameras spread throughout the house, and, well, a “presence.”
Cat-sitter Jay (the younger brother of Sammy) is kind of a screw-up, and Riley installs the cat cams because she doesn’t trust him to properly look after her cat. But what the cameras capture are inexplicable moments of supernatural shenanigans that become more serious as the days go by.
The cast includes Cronin Cullen, Jiavani, Bry Gallagher, Colleen Evanson, Michele Hart, and, of course, Nug the cat. Sara Werner directed Cat Cam from a script by Hilary Helding.
Cat Cam will release digitally and physically in North America on August 25, 2026.
