Toho and Gkids have released a new behind-the-scenes video for Godzilla Minus Zero!
Clips include set building, filming on location and in the studio, and director Takashi Yamazaki inspiring the crew by saying things like, “I believe this team can create something greater than the last film.”
The fact that Godzilla Minus Zero is the first Japanese movie filmed for IMAX is also highlighted.

Godzilla Minus Zero takes place in 1949, two years after the events of the first movie. Just as Japan ‘s recovery is reaching its end, a new catastrophe strikes.
Godzilla Minus Zero will have its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 26. It will then open in Japanese theaters on November 3, 72 years to the day after the original Godzilla opened in Japanese theaters on November 3, 1954. On November 6 it will be in North American theaters.
