June 20, 2025 – 5 New Horror Movies Released Today! (plus 1 making its SVOD debut)

I sound like I’m repeating myself, but this is another light day for horror movie releases. At least when compared to the quantity of releases earlier in June. But today is perhaps the most exciting release day of the month, because 28 Years Later is now in theaters! There are a few other interesting movies to check out this weekend as well. A father takes his boy into the dangers of the mainland, sparking a series of events that will change the boy’s life as we all rediscover the world 28 Days Later created.

Found Footage: The Making of the Patterson Project

Found Footage: The Making of the Patterson Project is presented as a pseudo-documentary about making a found footage movie about Bigfoot. As the cast and crew work on their movie, strange things start to happen.

Alma & the Wolf

Deputy Ren (Ethan Embry) has his sanity start to slip away during a confluence of events: a mysterious attack in town by a giant wolf, the rekindling of feelings for a high-school sweetheart, excessive drinking, and the fact that his son has gone missing. Anna (Whitney Peak) falls in with new friends after moving to Florida to stay with her grandmother after the death of her parents. When one of her friends commits a violent act, she becomes cursed by an entity that haunts dreams and literally takes eyes from people who do wrong.

Garden of Eden

The Edens, a family of zealous and wealthy Christians, give back to society by hosting garden parties in which they grant “wishes” to a few select people. However, the way they fulfill their guests’ wishes isn’t always pleasant.
