Matthew Lillard Said ‘F*ck ICE’
“And if you don’t like that, I’m so not sorry.”
Matthew Lillard spoke out against ICE at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery over Halloween weekend. At Cinespia’s screening of Scream, the horror actor surprised guests and introduced the movie. On stage, he said “F*ck ICE” and that he’s not sorry for who that statement offends.

He also encouraged attendees to vote yes on Prop 50, also known as the Election Rigging Response Act. The measure would authorize a redrawing of California congressional districts in response to President Trump’s request that districts be redrawn in Texas in order to give Republicans more power. Prop 50 will be voted on by California voters on November 4, 2025.
Lillard’s full remarks:
“F*ck ICE. In this time, in this city, we need to lead with love. Do not forget that s*** in this moment — not to be political, but to be political as s***. Second of all, vote. Yes to 50. You have to vote. If you don’t vote, we are going down. So it’s on us. And if you don’t like that, I’m so not sorry.”
Lillards words were met with enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
