An influencer making a documentary about herself discovers she has a stalker in the screenlife movie THE INFLUENCER PROJECT, now in theaters.
Chiara King stars in The Influencer Project as Chiara, a popular influencer who travels to Copenhagen with a small crew to make a documentary about online fame. As cameras capture her, she discovers that someone is watching her way too closely. A masked stalker is following her, turning the documentary into a horror movie.
Looking at the trailer, the film appears to be presented in a screenlife/pseudo-documentary style. So, found footage aesthetics, but with lots of different cameras and post-production edits throughout.
Mike Nybroe directed The Influencer Project in his feature debut, and he wrote the film along with Lars Andreas Pedersen and Anders Jon.
Among the film’s producers are Eduardo Sánchez and Gregg Hale, a director and producer of The Blair Witch Project respectively.
The Influencer Project is now playing in theaters.
