Mia Goth as Elizabeth in Frankenstein (2025).

Guillermo del Toro says he has spent 30 years trying to make his Frankenstein movie, which is in theaters on October 17 and on Netflix on November 7. Oscar Isaac stars as Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi plays his monster and Mia Goth will portray Elizabeth. Now, the first trailer for the movie has finally been released:

Of the project, del Toro said: “It took 30 years. It’s a movie I wanted to make before I even had a camera. There’s the DNA of “Frankenstein” on “Chronos,” on “Blade Two,” on “Hellboy.” And we were developing it at Universal before they passed. I pitched it everywhere. It’s been my Mount Everest to climb.”

Frankenstein will release in theaters on October 17 and stream on Netflix on November 7, 2025.
