5 Horror Movies New to Prime Video in July 2025

July has a small but solid collection of new-to-Prime horror movies.

Rings (2017) is now streaming as part of your Prime Video subscription.

The new-to-Prime horror offerings this month are few, but there are good ones in the batch. Listed below are all of the horror movies newly added to Prime Video in July, all of which you can watch now as part of your Amazon Prime subscription.

Often referred to as an “American Giallo,” Dressed to Kill is a masterful thriller which owes as much to Italian murder mysteries as it does to the films of Alfred Hitchcock. The story follows a prostitute, Liz (Nancy Allen), who witnesses a murder and becomes the killer’s next target.

Only Lovers Left Alive (2013)

Two centuries-old vampire lovers, Adam and Eve, reunite in Detroit. Adam is having an existential crisis of sorts, and Eve is there to sort his eternal life out. Written and directed by Jim Jarmusch, Only Lovers Left Alive is a droll comedy-drama that is one of the more unique entries in the canon of vampire fiction.

While investigating the site where something fell from the sky, author John Putnam (Richard Carlson) discovers an alien spaceship. However, a rockslide buries the ship, and nobody believes John’s story. Now John and his girlfriend Ellen (Barbara Rush) are the only people who realize that something strange is beginning to happen to people in the small Arizona town near where the ship crashed.

Julia (Matilda Lutz) travels to her boyfriend Holt’s (Alex Roe) college to check on him. She finds a strange research project involving the cursed VHS tape, and in order to save Holt she watches the tape herself. Now doomed to die in seven days, Julia investigates a new discovery in the video that she hopes is the key to her salvation.
