Netflix is known for salacious documentaries and docuseries on topics ranging from child influencers to natural disasters to unsolved murders. This month, there are six new docs coming to the streaming service. Will one of these be the next Tiger King?

Coming Sept. 5: Love Con Revenge

2022’s The Tinder Swindler is a popular Netflix documentary about Simon Leviev, a conman who used Tinder to meet his victims. Love Con Revenge follows one of the swindler’s victims, Cecilie Fjellhø, as she partners with other victims and private investigators to get revenge on dating app scammers.

Coming Sept. 10: aka Charlie Sheen

Unbalanced celebrity Charlie Sheen has shared a lot of secrets with fans over the years, but this time he’s been sober for seven years. aka Charlie Sheen sees the actor recount his career highlights (and lowlights) in the kind of extreme candor only Charlie Sheen is capable of. We hope he addresses the urban legend among horror fans that Sheen once called the FBI because he thought a horror movie was real.

Coming Sept. 12: Beauty and the Bester

This three-part docuseries is about a South African criminal, Thabo Bester, and celebrity doctor, Nandipha Magudumana. Bester is a convicted rapist and murderer who escaped from a South African prison by faking his own death. Magudumana is alleged to have helped him escape and avoid police for almost a year.

Coming Sept. 16: Rebel Royals: An Unlikely Love Story

The director of Tiger King returns to Netflix with this doc about a self-identified “shaman”, Durek Verrett, and his relationship with beloved Norwegian royal Märtha Louise. Cameras follow the couple as they prepare to wed and deal with the media circus surrounding the controversial pairing.

Coming Sept. 17: Matchroom: The Greatest Showmen

Barry and Eddie Hearn are a father and son who run Matchroom Sport, a British sports event promotion company. This doc dives into the drama of building the company and the men’s relationship with each other. Netflix is billing it as “a real life Succession story.”

Coming Sept. 30: Nightmares of Nature: Cabin in the Woods

Netflix partnered with horror studio Blumhouse to make this scary nature documentary.
