June 6, 2025 – 11 New Horror Movies Released Today (making 16 for the week)

The first week of June starts of strong with a wide range of new horror movies!

This is a big week for new horror. Not only did one of the best movies of the year (Sinners) land on streaming earlier this week, but there are a total of 16 new horror movies between theatrical and streaming releases. The highlight for this Friday is Dangerous Animals, but there’s a lot to choose from below.

Dangerous Animals

The director of Dangerous Animals, Sean Byrne, also directed the excellent The Loved Ones (2009).

Tucker (Jai Courtney) is a serial killer who uses sharks as his implements of murder. Zephyr (Hassie Harrison) is a surfer and a survivor. When Tucker chooses Zephyr as his next victim, he might have met his match.

Ben Foster was originally announced as co-starring with Al Pacino, but Dan Stevens replaced Foster sometime before filming began.

Resurrection Road

Shoulders

Shoulders is the first feature from Jamie Flatters.

Devil’s Punchbowl: Aftermath
