Keira Knightley Will Witness a Murder Aboard a Luxury Yacht in Netflix’s Newest Psychological Thriller
Agatha Christie fans will love this.

The adaptation of a #1 NYT best-selling murder mystery book is Netflix’s next original psychological thriller. If you’re active on BookTok, or if you just read a lot, you’re probably already familiar with the source material. But it’s taken nine years for this story to get adapted into a movie.

The Woman in Cabin 10 will star Keira Knightley as Laura “Lo” Blacklock, a journalist who accepts an invitation from the wealthy Lord Richard Bullmer (Guy Pearce) to document the maiden voyage of his new superyacht. As they travel the fjords of Norway, Lo witnesses the murder of the woman in the cabin next to her. Unfortunately her penchant for drinking and the mental health medication she takes makes Lo an unreliable narrator both to the audience, and to the other guests onboard.

The movie is based on the best-selling book of the same name by mystery writer Ruth Ware. It was wildly popular after its release and photos of the book’s cover were all over social media. Fans have impatiently been waiting nine years for this movie adaptation to release.
The Woman in Cabin 10 hits Netflix on October 10.
