Arctic Annihilation is the latest micro-budget disaster movie from The Asylum, the studio that brought you instant-classics such as Alien Disclosure Day, Resident Dead, and The Last Hail M.A.R.Y.
The story of Arctic Annihilation appears to be somewhat straightforward. The entire world is beginning to freeze, and only Molly Martin (a recurring character in some of The Asylum’s disaster movies) can save the day. The trailer indicates that black holes embedded in the Earth might have something to do with the planet’s rapid cooling, but who knows, really?
Definitely check out the trailer for the movie before you watch. The disaster effects look very much like they are AI generated, which saps a lot of the fun out of movies like this.
