A Bloody mess is a satirical and darkly comedic pseudo-documentary.
The film follows a documentary filmmaker, Violet, who is investigating the truth behind a disaster in a small Texas town that filled the streets with sewage many years ago. Feelings about the event are still raw, and people don’t seem to want to talk to Violet about what happened. But Violet has her own reasons for wanting answers, and she’s willing to do just about anything to get them.
Sydney O’Toole stars as Violent, and she’s joined in the cast by Mary Birdsong, Anna Bezahler, Dhruv Uday Singh, James Werner, Jim Woods, and Matt O’Toole. Daniel Hayden wrote and directed A Bloody Mess.
