A Labubu-inspired horror movie, titled Lazuzu, is coming soon. ITN Studios, the same distributor behind the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey movies as well as tons of other low-to-no-budget horror flicks, recently put out a trailer for Lazuzu.
Lazuzu is a micro-budget horror movie that takes the Labubu frenzy as inspiration for a cursed doll narrative. It’s about a man who comes into possession of a Lazuzu doll, and soon everyone around him is paying the price in blood.
The trailer shows a big and hairy demon, a Pazuzu statue, and a fair amount of blood and violence.
Nathan Geering directed Lazuzu from a script by Craig McLearie (Black Krampus, Popeye: Resurrection). There is currently no release date specified for Lazuzu. ITN also has a habit of dropping movies onto VOD with very little advance notice.
