Nicholas Galitzine (Masters of the Universe) is reportedly in “final negotiations” to play Ichabod Crane in Sony’s upcoming film Hollow. Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Belmont Cameli (Off Campus) have already been announced for the cast.

Hollow is based on the upcoming novel (set for release mid-2027) of the same title by Lindsey Anderson Beer. Deadline, who reported Galitzine’s potential casting, describes Beer’s novel as a reimagining of Washington Irving’s original story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

The book, like the movie, is told from the perspective of Katrina Van Tassel, the rich farmer’s daughter who is pursued romantically by Ichabod Crane and Abraham Van Brunt. Katrina will be played by Sydney Sweeney, and Lindsey Anderson Beer will write and direct the film adaptation of her own novel.
