“R.L. Stine and I have been in the business of scaring kids for a long time, so joining Pumpkinhead 2 was such a treat,” Peterson said in a statement. “Playing Cassandra was the perfect ‘witchy’ role for me.”
R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2 is a Tubi Original. The movie follows Sam (Bean Reid) and Becka (Adeline Lo) as they race to stop a new Pumpkinhead curse from taking over their town. Cassandra Peterson plays a witch who may be able to help the teens in their quest. Jem Garrard (Slay) wrote and directed both R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead movies based on Stine’s original stories.
R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2 will premiere on Tubi on October 9, 2026.
