Danielle Harris spent 3 years filming a documentary about a life that includes a 2-decade stalking ordeal, her father’s death in an unsolved car accident, and the deaths by suicide of a partner and a close friend.
The feature-length film will explore those experiences alongside the acting career that brought her to audiences as Jamie Lloyd in 1988’s Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. She returned for Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers in 1989.

Her other credits include Free Willy, The Last Boy Scout, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, Charmed, Roseanne and Boy Meets World.
Directors Destinie Orndoff and Tristan Clay are combining private home videos with interviews with Harris, her colleagues and people close to her. The documentary also follows her at fan conventions and at home in Los Angeles.

Orndoff and Clay are producing with Hayden Todd Wilberger and Jordan Wyant, with a festival premiere planned for 2027.
“People think they know Danielle because they grew up watching her. They’ve seen the performances,” Orndoff said. “They’ve never seen what it cost her, and Danielle didn’t hold anything back.”
Clay added: “In the three years of filming, I had the honour of getting to know the woman off the screen. I can’t wait for audiences to see this side of her.”
