Regal Is Giving Away Free 3D-Print Files for a Wicker Popcorn Bucket, and Bringing a Printed One Gets You Free Popcorn

Regal used 3D scans of Alexander Skarsgård’s Wicker costume to make a popcorn bucket you can print yourself. The files are free, and if you bring your printed Wicker Husband to a Regal screening of the film, you’ll get a free small popcorn.

The design is a headless, glossy brown woven torso. You fill it through the neck, and the film’s title is stamped on the lower back.

Regal released the files on October 8 as tickets went on sale. You’ll need to arrange the printing yourself; this bucket isn’t being sold at the concession stand.

In Wicker, Olivia Colman plays a fisherwoman who commissions a husband made of wicker, played by Skarsgård. The trailer opens with the couple having loud, passionate sex. Regal’s pitch for the bucket: “This one’s for all of you that want your own Wicker Husband.”

The costume itself was shaped using scans of Skarsgård’s face and body. Its nipples were the subject of debate during production. Skarsgård said, “My dream was always to have nipples made out of wicker.”

Wicker is rated R for brief full nudity, sexual content, and language. It opens in limited US theaters on October 23, with a nationwide expansion on October 30.
