Hey Creepy Catalog,
In honor of Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, here are some romantic horror movies to watch this weekend, solo or on a date night:
The Hunger (1983). Streaming on HBO Max. A steamy horror movie staring starring Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie, and Susan Sarandon in a love triangle. Deneuve and Bowie are a vampire couple, Sarandon is the scientist they consult when Bowie’s character suddenly shows signs of aging.
Valentine (2001). Streaming on Tubi. A Valentine’s Day themed slasher movie with a star-studded 90s cast. The Denise Richards hot tub scene is iconic.
The Love Witch (2016). Streaming on Tubi. If you’re by yourself this Valentine’s Day celebrate with Elena, a beautiful witch with a big heart who refuses to settle for the flawed men she encounters.
You (Season 4). Streaming on Netflix. Our favorite lonely heart/serial killer Joe Goldberg is starting over in London. Now going by “Jonathan”, he is a university professor dating one of his colleagues.
This week in horror:
- Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. may be returning to the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise.
- Scream Queen Emma Roberts has a creepy doll collection.
- Whitney Houston said The Bodyguard (1992) wasn’t realistic because she would GET OUT.
- ‘The Park’ & ‘Hunt Her, Kill Her’ Trailers: Two Intense Survival Thrillers Releasing in March.
- It’s Canon That Billy And Stu Are Queer-Coded in ‘Scream’ (1996).
