Celebrate 25 Years of ‘The Blair Witch Project’ at the Victory International Film Festival in September!
Gregg Hale, one of the producers of The Blair Witch Project, will be in attendance and take part in a Q&A after the movie!
The landscape of horror cinema would look a lot different if not for The Blair Witch Project. Originally released in the summer of 1999 amid a revolutionary marketing campaign, this classic sparked the imaginations of legions of filmmakers. That led to a wave of found footage horror movies, a wave that is still happening twenty-five years later. Regardless of its incredible influence though, The Blair Witch Project Project, on its own, is an excellent movie with a fascinating story about how it was made.
The Victory International Film Festival is celebrating the legacy of The Blair Witch Project with a screening taking place on September 13th, 2024. One of the film’s producers, Gregg Hale, will be in attendance, and he will take part in a Q&A session after the movie. As a founding member of Haxan Films along with the writers and directors of The Blair Witch Project, Hale has plenty of great stories about the movie to share with fans.
Tickets are on sale now for only $10, and they are available directly from the theater: Showplace Cinema East in Evansville, Indiana.
