'Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3' Will Release Theatrically in January 2027

A new trailer recently dropped for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3. The movie is part of the ongoing Twisted Childhood Universe (aka Poohniverse, which is a much better name in my opinion). With the release of Blood and Honey 3, the shared horror universe will be up to six movies.

If you’re not on board with the Poohniverse at this point, you’re kind of missing out. Especially if you enjoy cheap and bloody ultra-low-budget horror. It’s true that the first movie, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) wasn’t very good. That was clearly a cheap and quick cash-in on the public-domain status of the characters. But all of the movies since then have been varying degrees of good fun.

The upcoming Blood and Honey 3 looks interesting for a number of reasons. One thing I noticed right away from the trailer is that the title of the film shown graphically is Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey – The Lost Years. Then the credits at the end of the trailer list it as Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3. The subtitle “The Lost Years” makes me wonder if this movie will take place after the events of the previous movie, or if it will be set out of chronological order. I’m probably just overthinking it though, because I see Scott Chambers as Christopher Robin in the trailer, so it makes the most sense if it’s placed after part 2 (despite the way things ended for certain characters in that movie). “The Lost Years” is probably just in reference to the story in part 3.

The story of part 3 picks up fifteen years after Pooh, Tigger, and Rabbit are captured and forced to be attractions in the Woozles Circus. An orphaned teen, Momo Milne, is searching for her missing mother, and the trail leads to the Woozles. Momo and a friend take jobs in the circus to learn more, and things spin wildly out of control.

I like that you can see circus attendees wearing Pooh masks that are the same design as the mask used for the killer Pooh bear in the first Blood and Honey movie. I think that’s a great touch. I also like how gory the red-band trailer gets. I think this is going to be another fun one. I’m also excited to see if any Heffalumps show up.

Roger L. Jackson (the voice of Ghostface) voices Rabbit in Blood and Honey 3. Also in the main cast are Richard Stanley, Josephine Blazier, Scott Chambers, Kira Reed, Leo Harris, Zena Donnelly, and Harrison Davis.

Scott Chambers directed the movie. He also directed Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare which I quite enjoyed, and he’s played Christopher Robin in the Poohniverse ever since Blood and Honey 2. Richard Stanley wrote Blood and Honey 3. Stanley is best known for the movies Color Out of Space (2019), Hardware (1990), and the infamous 1996 version of The Island of Dr. Moreau.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 – The Lost Years will be in theaters in late January 2027, but no specific date has been released yet.
