Jack in the Box is getting into the Halloween spirit with a new menu that pays tribute to The Simpsons’ long-running “Treehouse of Horror” specials. The limited-time Munchie Meal of Horror pulls Springfield’s spookiest imagery into a full lineup of collectible cups and horror-themed food.
The centerpiece of the promotion is a set of collectible cups featuring some of the show’s most recognizable faces. Hugo, Marge, Homer and a Krusty with Jack’s own head grinning back at you all turn up across the set. Each Munchie Meal of Horror comes with one cup while supplies last, so completists will need to keep coming back.
The food leans just as hard into the theme. The meal is built around a choice of the Double Krusty Burger of Terror or the Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, both topped with Spooky Simpsons Sauce — a smoky blend of BBQ sauce and ketchup. Those sandwiches can also be ordered on their own, and the Krusty Burger of Terror is available in single and triple versions as well.
For dessert, Forbidden D’oh!nut Holes reimagine Homer’s beloved treat as warm cinnamon-sugar bites finished with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles. The full menu is available for a limited run at participating restaurants nationwide and through the Jack in the Box app.
The tie-in arrives ahead of “Treehouse of Horror XXXVII,” airing this fall with parodies of Freaky Friday, Pet Sematary and Smile, plus a stop-motion segment inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Simpsons season 38 premieres September 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox, and the horror-themed meals are available now at Jack in the Box.
