A total of 24 horror and thriller movies are scheduled to hit theaters in October 2026. This list of theatrical releases is compiled from TheNumbers, IMDB, and Fandango. There will almost certainly be more movies in theaters during the month, since announcements can happen at any time. But for now, this is a decently thorough list. We’ll do our best to post previews for each movie as the dates get closer and/or when they’re released.
