Colony is from director Yeon Sang-ho, the filmmaker who directed one of the greatest zombie films of all time about a decade ago, Train to Busan. Colony is also a zombie movie of sorts, but the zombies act much differently here.
Colony is set within a building where a biotech conference is being held. A bioweapon is let loose, infecting people and quickly spreading throughout the building. With the structure on lockdown, the remaining uninfected survivors try to stay a few steps ahead of the infected whose tactics and methods of attack evolve at an extraordinarily rapid pace.
Colony received a brief and limited theatrical release in the U.S. starting at the end of August, and it’s now available to watch everywhere digitally. You can find Colony for rental and purchase on major digital platforms in the U.S. including Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and more.
