In their isolated home, a father and son find a creepy painting. Now their nightmares are bleeding into reality. And no matter how many times they try to put the painting away, it keeps reappearing, hanging on the walls of their home.
I haven’t seen many reviews for The Canvas. It’s a low-budget movie, and the special effects look distinctly like AI, so, fair warning (about the AI, not the budget).
The Canvas was directed by John Real, who also stars in the movie and co-wrote the script. Adriana Marzagalli also co-wrote. Angus Macfadyen, Nicolette McKeown, Sabrina Culver, and Francesco Marzagalli are also featured in the cast.
You can rent or buy The Canvas digitally on Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and other major platforms.
