Dean is trying to reconnect with his estranged son Wyatt after a family tragedy. While they’re on the road back to Dean’s home, they stop in a small town where Dean becomes the prime suspect for a murder, and Wyatt goes missing. With many strange cases already being investigated, Dean and a local detective try to get to the bottom of the town’s dark past.

Britt Bankhead wrote, directed, and stars in The Town That Takes. Jon Blaze also co-wrote the script. Miles Mussenden, Grace Patterson, Mike Markoff, and Nico Tirozzi also star.

The Town That Takes was given a small theatrical release earlier this year, and it’s finally on VOD. You can find it for rent and purchase now on Prime Video.
