Bella Torres was home in Buckeye, Arizona, with her 2 children on October 16 when a man entered and attacked her. Police say her fiancé, 23-year-old Zarian Dyer, had arranged the assault with the man online and allegedly asked him to FaceTime during it.

Torres said the intruder, identified as 20-year-old Adrian Ayala, asked to use the restroom before charging at her. She said he grabbed her from behind, ordered her to remove her clothes and kicked her toddler.

A doorbell camera recorded Torres escaping and fighting back. During the encounter, the attacker said her “boyfriend sent me.” Dyer arrived as Ayala fled and followed him in a slow chase.
After seizing devices belonging to both men, investigators found communications about planning the assault, Buckeye police spokesperson Carissa Planalp said. Police say Dyer and Ayala, who’s from Goodyear, met online.
Dyer was arrested on October 29 and faces charges of aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping and conspiracy. At his first court appearance, prosecutors alleged he’d used social media to arrange the sexual assault of his fiancée, the mother of his children, and have it transmitted through the other man’s phone.
