U.V.F: Underground Video Films is an exercise in the extreme-horror side of found footage anthology films.
There’s a mysterious host who presents the segments of the anthology as if this were a broadcast we were never meant to see. The segments themselves are made by directors from around the world.
Directors include João Augusto De Nardo, Robert Getty, Jill Gevargizian, Peter Hatch, Tom Hughes, Lampros Kordolaimis, Simon Spachmann, Phil Stevens, Garson Vega, and Alex Leonard.
Themes and subjects include snuff films, the supernatural, stop-motion animation, a twisted kids’ show, and more. There’s a lot of variety here.
