Reality and Fiction Begin to Blur as a Writer Shares His Success with His Friends in 'Terrestrial', Now in Limited Theaters

Terrestrial is described in previews and reviews as a darkly comedic sci-fi thriller.

The story begins with Allen (Jermaine Fowler) welcoming his old friends from college—Vic (Edy Modica), Ryan (James Morosini), and Maddie (Pauline Chalamet)—to his lavish new house. Allen has apparently become a huge success as a writer very quickly, but something seems off. Something about Allen’s actions and demeanor, and something about the whole situation feels strange. What’s really happening might be the strangest thing of all.

Steve Pink (Santa Clarita Diet, Cobra Kai) directed Terrestrial, and the script was written by Connor Diedrich and Samuel Johnson.

Terrestrial is now playing in limited theaters in the U.S.
