The Lost Boys are Back in Town

Just added to Netflix: “One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach; all the damn vampires.”

The Lost Boys (1987) is back on Netflix.

Hey Creepy Catalogers,

Welcome to 2022! I hope it’s filled with hidden gems and twist-endings that actually shock you.

Netflix has added a handful of new horror movies to its selection for January including one of my favorite horror movies from 2020: 1Br. They also added teen slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer, which has a really interesting (and tragic) backstory, and its sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. They hold up! If you’re looking for something high quality, I spent my Christmas vacation watching movies and the ones I enjoyed the most were Swallow (2019) and The Lobster (2015).

Here’s what I’m streaming this weekend:

The Lost Boys. Streaming on Netflix. The iconic 1987 horror comedy was just added back to the service this week. “One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach; all the damn vampires.”

Stay Close. Streaming on Netflix. A new limited thriller series about four people haunted by secrets from their past. The trailer has me hooked.

Vicious Fun. One of the best horror movies streaming on Shudder. A social outcast horror nerd accidentally attends a 12-step group for serial killers. As the title promises, it’s fun!

This week in horror:

Happy streaming and stay spooky!
