A documentary crew treks into the Pine Barrens of New Jersey to investigate stories of people who have gone missing there. They’re initially skeptical of the supernatural stories attached to the forest, but as they look for the truth, something finds them.
Creature of the Pines is presented as a pseudo-documentary with found footage. Chris Ruppertand Tyler Transue wrote and directed the movie, which stars Ian Anderson, Sugey Cruz, Austin Greene, Kris Hart, Danielle Hartman, and Adam Hartwick.
Creature of the Pines is now streaming on Screambox. You can also rent and buy it on other digital platforms including Prime Video and Fandango at Home.
