In its preview of Bunker Heights, Dread Central described the movie as something like C.H.U.D. and Lethal Weapon thrown into a blender. That sounds intriguing to me.
The official descriptions of Bunker Heights are a bit vague, but what I’ve gathered without having seen it yet is that there’s a city infested with corruption and crime. There are also monsters living beneath the city streets, and during a botched bank robbery one of the criminals is bitten by one. What that means for him and the people around him, I’m not sure. But it can’t be good.
The trailer looks fun though. Bunker Heights might be a pretty decent horror/crime comedy.
Drew Fortier (Side Effects May Vary) wrote and directed the movie, and it stars Hannah Fierman (Siren, New Fears Eve), Chaney Morrow (Wrong Turn [2021]), Paul T. Taylor (Hellraiser: Judgment), Floyd Ewing Jr. (The Dead Next Door, Robot Ninja), Violent J of Insane Clown Posse, Vinnie Dombroski of Sponge, and former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.
Bunker Heights is now available as a digital rental and purchase on major platforms including Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and more.
