Shudder’s Season of Screams stacks the fall calendar with a horror premiere nearly every Friday from September through Halloween. Between the classics is a run of brand-new originals, including the ninth V/H/S movie and a Halloween special going out live.
Shudder is dropping a new original film almost every Friday this fall, starting with Parasomnia on September 4 and running straight through Halloween.

The lineup of new titles is deep. V/H/S/Mixtape, the ninth entry in the found-footage franchise, premieres October 9 with segments from Ernest Dickerson, RZA and Flying Lotus, plus a featured appearance from shock-metal band GWAR. The Creep Tapes returns for a third season on September 15 with Mark Duplass back as the serial killer. Big Baby, about a maniac in a baby mask, arrives on Devil’s Night (October 30) and was executive produced by Cher.

There’s also Hallowarrior, starring Milly Shapiro as the last girl on Earth fighting off raiders on Halloween, and Bloody Tennis, set at a sinister elite tennis academy. Deborah Ann Woll leads The Cycle on October 23.

The classics fill in the rest. All four Psycho movies land September 1, joined by 1408 with John Cusack, both Insidious sequels with Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne, and Strange Darling.
Joe Bob Briggs hosts a live Halloween House Party on October 23, and Devon Sawa hosts the FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards live on October 25.
This is the way to celebrate spooky season!
