'Wuthering Heights: House Of The Damned' Is Kind of Like the Classic Gothic Story by Emily Brontë, but Way More Overtly Horror. It’s Now Available to Watch on VOD

The characters and some similar plot points are here, but they are twisted into more overt horror archetypes. The foundation of this movie is in Heathcliff’s mission of killing people as sacrifices in an attempt to bring Catherine back to life. From the write-ups I’ve read, it sounds like the movie mostly adapts parts of the second half of the book. But, again, it’s all twisted up in blood and gore.

Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned was directed by Becca Hirani (The Monster Beneath Us) and written by Liana Failla.

The cast includes Sky Cheema (Heathcliff), Elle O’Hara (Catherine), Ross Townsend-Green (Mr. Lockwood), Nicola Wright (Nelly), Anna Coupé (Cathy), Zach Devereux (Hareton), Adrian Jieanu (Linton), Gordon Joseph Millar (Joseph), Sam Rowlands (Hindley), Simon Weir (Mr. Earnshaw), and Cathy Wippell (Francis Earnshaw).

You can watch Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned as a digital rental or purchase on Fandango at Home and Apple TV.
