Doomscrolling and a Few Texts Lead to a Surreal Night of Terror in 'Human', Now in Limited Theaters and on VOD

It’s bedtime, so Dani, all alone in an otherwise empty studio, pulls out her phone and begins scrolling. When an ex texts her, Dani texts back. But shortly after someone begins banging on the door to the studio. Then things get very, very weird.

I’ve avoided looking too deep into plot spoilers for Human, because most of the reviews and previews I’ve seen say that just going along for the ride is the best way to experience the movie. The trailer doesn’t give much away, but it does give a very intriguing hint of the movie’s tone, so I suggest checking it out.

Jackie Kelly stars in Human as Dani, and Jeffrey Decker is also featured in the cast. The movie was written and directed by Matt Stuertz.

Human is now playing in limited theaters. You can also find it available to rent and buy digitally on Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and other major platforms.
