An Emotional New Supernatural Thriller is Now Streaming on Hulu and Disney+
Their marriage is ending, but something doesn’t want them to leave each other.
Hulu always leans into the Halloween season with their Huluween selection of movies and shows. While they have a sizable library of great previously-released horror movies to choose from this year, there are only two new Hulu Original Movies coming out this October. One of them was released today, October 8th, and that movie is Stay. Check out the trailer below.
Stay stars Megalyn Echikunwoke and Mo McRae as Kiara and Miles, a couple whose marriage once seemed perfect. But now their relationship is coming to an end. They pack up the house they once shared, but as they attempt to leave, they find that the house won’t let them go. Trapped inside, Kiara and Miles must find out who or what is holding them back.
Reviews for Stay suggest that this thriller is more spiritual than spooky, and more emotional than scary. That might be just right for fans of relationship dramas who want a Halloween-themed movie without too many frights.
