Clown in a Cornfield is based on the 2020 novel of the same title by Adam Cesare.

A teenage girl, Quinn (Katie Douglas), moves to the small town of Kettle Springs, Missouri with her father. Katie makes some new friends, learning that they make short movies featuring the town’s unofficial mascot, Frendo the clown, as a killer. But when a person dressed as Frendo starts killing people for real, Quinn and her new friends seem to be the clown’s main target.

While on a guided cryptid hike through the woods, Kay (Chloe Pirrie) strays from the group and encounters something monstrous. After the encounter, Kay has no memory of who she is. As she tries to piece her life back together, she starts to wonder if she is somehow connected to a missing cryptozoologist who happens to look exactly like her.

The Moogai

The Moogai is based on a 2020 short of the same title from the same writer and director, Jon Bell.

Now she only has four days to live unless she can break free from the curse.
