Which film are you most looking forward to?

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Alfie Williams run from the infected in 28 Years Later.

A lot of big movies are coming out this month and this list will take a look at the most-anticipated releases. For a full list of all upcoming horror movies, take a look at our new horror movies tracker.

June 6: Dangerous Animals

This looks like the next great shark attack movie. It follows a surfer who is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer. Isolated on his boat in the middle of the ocean, she must figure out how to escape before he feeds her to the sharks.

June 6: I Don’t Understand You

This comedy horror movie follows a gay couple on a babymoon in Italy. As they don’t know any Italian, the couple becomes entangled in a series of accidental deaths as they try to escape the country and return home in time to see their son being born. I Don’t Understand You looks to be more of a demented comedy than horror, but its perfect for fans of nightmare vacation movies or viewing with others who can’t handle anything too scary.

June 6: The Ritual

Al Pacino stars as one of two priests tasked with performing a risky exorcism. So far, it doesn’t seem like The Ritual differentiates itself from other demonic possession movies, except for the casting of Pacino. Which, for many fans is good enough.

June 20: 28 Years Later

This horror movie is so highly-anticipated, fans have literally been waiting 26 years for it. 28 Years Later sees a group of survivors living on a small island. A father and son (Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Alfie Williams) travel to the mainland on a mission and experience new horrors as the Rage virus continues to spread.

Another sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, is set to release on January 16, 2026.

June 27: M3GAN 2.0

The M3GAN sequel sees the AI doll tasked with taking down another AI doll named Amelia. This looks to be a funny and campy horror comedy with enjoyable kills and memeable quotes. Don’t forget your $45 M3GAN custom popcorn buckets.
